Thomas Iovino

Chairman and Founder

Thomas Iovino is a successful entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience as a visionary leader in the construction and infrastructure industry. Most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of OHL North America, one of the region’s leading construction firms and a major unit of the OHL Group headquartered in Madrid, Spain, Tom oversaw the construction activities of OHL North America and its divisions, including Judlau Contracting, Inc. (which he founded in 1981), OHL USA, OHL Canada, Community Asphalt, OHL Building and OHL Arellano. Tom is also the founder and CEO of several successful niche contracting companies, including J-Track, LLC and J-Track Central, TC Electric, LLC, Welkin Mechanical, LLC and Environmental and Infrastructure Group. These companies perform track, signal, mechanical, demolition and environmental remediation work, respectively.

Concurrently, Tom is a member of the World Presidents’ Organization, the Chief Executives Organization and Construction Industry Roundtable. He is also a member of The Moles, a fraternal organization of the heavy construction industry, through which Tom was honored with the prestigious 2012 Moles Member Award for outstanding achievements in construction. Tom is also a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the Norton Museum in Palm Beach.

Tom received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from RPI and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York. Tom and his wife, Judy, reside in New York City, have two children, Lauren and Michael, and four grandchildren.

Robert Squillante

Chief Administrative Officer

Bob Squillante brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry to Iovino Enterprises, progressing from project accountant to owning a successful subcontracting company, as well as senior financial executive roles for some of the largest building and heavy civil contractors in the metropolitan area.

Most recently, Bob was President and acting CFO of his own reinforcing steel subcontracting company, which performed work on some of New York’s highest profile projects, including the Tappan Zee Bridge reconstruction project and the Barclays Arena project, along with many other city, state and transit projects. Prior to that, Bob spent the majority of his career serving as Chief Financial Officer for Judlau Contracting, where he was instrumental in growing the company to almost $150 million over 13 years, with growth in excess of $10 million in annual sales year over year.

Bob currently resides in New York with Carmel, his wife of 33 years, and their four daughters: Caylee, Jillian, Jenna and Kyra.

Gail Thakarar

Chief People Officer

Gail Thakarar, Chief People Officer, has extensive experience leading complex, global HR environments for Fortune 100 companies and rapidly expanding entrepreneurial corporations, such as General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Countrywide Financial Corporation and The Mony Group. She has worked with corporate Boards of Directors and brings an expertise in mergers and acquisitions, as well as core human resources functions of talent acquisition and retention, talent management, culture, succession planning, leadership development, change management, compensation strategy and benefit and employee relations.

Gail earned an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Bombay. She serves on the Advisory Board of Reppify, a technology company pioneering the use of social media data, and on the Advisory Board of Talent Management. She is committed to ensuring Iovino Enterprises’ success in three key areas: people, process and platform. Her vision supports our commitment to create a culture that recognizes and rewards excellence.

Gail lives with her husband in Larchmont, NY and is the proud mother of three children and three grandchildren who are ‘the wind beneath her wings.’

Gustavo J. Monne

Chief Information Officer

Gustavo Monne, CIO, joined Iovino Enterprises as one of the company’s founders in 2017. He has played a critical role in the migration of management services for affiliates from Judlau OHL, as well as defining key IT initiatives, including process automation and reengineering, cloud computing and collaboration.

As Chief Information Officer, Gus Monne is responsible for Iovino Enterprises’ technical operations, enterprise Information Systems, managed services and innovation. Gus brings over 20 years of technology leadership experience in successful mid-size organizations. Previously, he worked for Judlau Contracting for 13 years, where he developed the IT function. In his former role as IT Director for a leading provider of dining services, Gus initiated and architected the development of an innovative ERP system for their School Nutrition Business Unit that revolutionized the way the Company did business.

Gus holds an MS degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Moscow.
He has two sons, Gustavo Jr. and Daniel, and resides on Long Island, NY with his wife, Vicky.
